Okay, I have just about had it. My family don't even pretend to get along with each other anymore and I'm getting jerked around by my college. Ah but the main thing is, I want out. Anyone know of any apartment search sites or something?
I'm so mad I cannot even type correctly so I apologize. I am just done!
try craigslist or kijiji or just do a Google search for apartments in your desired area. I'm sure many will come up.
There is apartments.com or rent.com. but those sites are very cluttered. You can use them, but it's a hassle and a half. Still, those are the only suggestions I can think of.
Kevin, this is the site I've been using. You can narrow your search by county, rent price range, and so-on.

You can also just get a longer rope.
um, brew, with all due respect, i do not think that was the reply really wanted by this person. *smile*
Okay don't shoot me, but you need to get around to look at these places. Here's what I'd do. d call 411, get some local realistate agents numbers. Call them say you are blind and ask them to assist. Interview to see if they'll help free, some will, and know good stuff off the top of their heads. If you are new to living aline, then heelp will be good until you learn what is and what isn't so to speak. If you have a local agency that helps disabled people call them for help as well. You don't want to rent a infested place. It might seems nice, but what you can't see bites. Smile.
Well, on a more serious note, I agree with Tiff, Craigslist is your friend. Determine your budget and go look under "short term rental" on CL and see what a room or apartment go for, go out and talk to the people.
That's your best bet

Wow thanks everyone. And oh boy let me just apologize for sounding like a 4-year-old on the original post! But as we all know, we all have our snapping point. Anyway, I will be checking these resources.
You didn't sound like a four-year-old in your first post, at least not to me. We all need to vent sometimes. and, yes, you'll need to go see places eventually, but get it narrowed down to a few that you're interested in, based on things like location and budget, etc. Then you're not doing a whole lot of pointless visiting of places that won't work out for you.
...and in the meanwhile tie a knot
at the end of that rope and hang on
*All the Best thots
am sending your way
Thought you were gonna say "and hang yourself." Lol. Well now I have this research which gives me some clarity.
